4-Star QB transferring to UL!

only our fans would find negatives in a local 4* QB transferring into our program. This is a huge get and further cements our program is on the right track under Des. He will compete just like every other 2-3* on roster for a starting spot. i am super excited this kid wants to come back to play for the Cajuns!

LoL! It's both hilarious and sad how petty some of you are. If Walker Howard wasn't from Lafayete and never signed with TSAB, you same people would be in the corner stroking yourselves with excitement.
Probably talking about how amazing it was that Des was able to get this guy in the NIL era. Yeah, "he's gonna have to come in and compete". Geez, no kidding, huh? Guess what, he doesnt come here unless Des wanted him to come here. Some of yall are the same ones moaning about negativity and how "i swear, some of yall can never be satisfied or happy." Dude was one of the top QBs coming out of high school. Yes, he will still have to come in and compete. No ____. So does every player that ever walks through the door. You're not saying anything insightful, you're just showing how petty you are. Some of yall need to check yourselves.

Who is trying to find negatives. What I’m reading is that some folks are saying it’s not Dez’s style to offer NIL and an automatic starting role to someone who is not currently in the program.

I hope Walker Howard comes in and becomes an All American. But if Beale is better than him in camp, then I hope Beale is the All American.

Story from the Anthony Jennings days. We played at ULM the final game of the season in 2016 in the rain. Cajuns won 30-3. Neither team could pass the ball much because of the weather. In addition, all 2-3k fans at the game were crowded up under the overhang on the home side. I think the ULM fans were sufficiently fed up with the Cajun fans by the end of the game. My buddy was celebrating after, and a ULM fan wanted to fight him and kept saying we only won because of our “LSU reject” QB. We were like, “buddy…he threw for about 30 yards.” I’ve seen some fun games in that stadium.

Truth be told, a little talent and stability at QB really helped that year. Didn't care where it came from. QB room was a mess after Broadway (also a transfer, btw) graduated. Jennings had a similar skillset and that helped us at least get back to a bowl game in 2016.

If this kid wants to be a Cajun and he can contribute to the cULture. Then give him a shot.
