4-Star QB transferring to UL!

I don’t know why people are so fricken upset about this. If Howard comes in and competes and wins the job it’s what is best for the program.

We all know Dez is stubborn as hell, he won’t cater to, not play favorites. If Howard beats out Beale and Lunch he will have earned the spot.

The guy was an extremely high rated QB from Lafayette. Seems like a perfect fit is he pans out.

Let’s just see what happens.

I dont think anyone is upset about this. There are some saying he is the Starter already and there are some saying spot needs to be earned not given. Everyone wants more talent on the team.

He will compete just like every other 2-3* on roster for a starting spot. i am super excited this kid wants to come back to play for the Cajuns!

Guess what, he doesnt come here unless Des wanted him to come here. Some of yall are the same ones moaning about negativity and how "i swear, some of yall can never be satisfied or happy." Dude was one of the top QBs coming out of high school. Yes, he will still have to come in and compete. No ____. So does every player that ever walks through the door. You're not saying anything insightful, you're just showing how petty you are. Some of yall need to check yourselves.

Story from the Anthony Jennings days. We played at ULM the final game of the season in 2016 in the rain. Cajuns won 30-3. Neither team could pass the ball much because of the weather. In addition, all 2-3k fans at the game were crowded up under the overhang on the home side. I think the ULM fans were sufficiently fed up with the Cajun fans by the end of the game. My buddy was celebrating after, and a ULM fan wanted to fight him and kept saying we only won because of our “LSU reject” QB. We were like, “buddy…he threw for about 30 yards.” I’ve seen some fun games in that stadium.
