It's been established that Des will not use NIL to bring in players and nobody is promised a starting spot. Best man wins the job, that's how you build championship programs.

I think everybody here is eager for him to come here and compete for the Job. But if his dad wants him to be the guranteed starter to come here, he better head further down I-10 to Mcneese.

We wont use NIL money to bring him in or barely any. Des has stated on numerous occasions that we will use NIL to RETAIN our talent not to bring guys in. If its money he's looking for best he go somewhere else.
