Well, you're certainly right about that. My honest opinion is that they let him know he can coach here til he's ready to retire. They have this distorted view that Marlin is some world class coach that we have to make sure he's happy because other schools are gonna swoop in and take him. LoL! I mean, they aren't wrong, I guess. When you win 75% of your games, you come at a premium.
My opinion is as well. I think a deal was made for him to coach here until Marlin is 65 and can retire. I just cannot see how we retain him with how things are going with the program.
