I remember Jerry Babb breaking some ribs on a play where he did a full stretch out with the ball trying to get a first down.

Jerry Babb is one of my all time favorite players.

Ben Wooldridge is in the same catagory.

An all out player.

I hate to see anyone get hurt. Especially a player who was hustling. Ben gave me illusions of grandeur and I will forever be a grateful fan.

Ben and LL1 had a common trait. Neither rarely panicked under pressure. That type of leadership is rare in college.

My honest opinion is that whoever was named the starter would have had one of the best QB seasons we have had here.

Performed like that with the defense not worrying about the run. The D-line pinned their ears back to rush the QB & Chandler still made plays.
