Softball is the worst. Balls are called strikes and strikes are called balls. Not to mention the ridiculous crow hop that used to be selectively enforced. But hey, it gives middle school girls and their parents something to do so I guess some will enjoy it. I am neither so its a hard pass for me.
Thank you Ben for your part in building this program back up. Heart broken for you once again. Keep your head up. Cajun for life!!!
. . . emulative of his entire career . . . a warrior for his team with complete lack of general luck . . . Ben Woolridge, we thank you for all you have done and hopefully, with continued persistence and a little of that luck which you seemed to lack, Louisiana can finish off what you were very instrumental in starting this football season . . .
Wow. Just learning of this. Been in BFE.
KICK ASS SEASON BEN. Thank you. For real.
I remember Jerry Babb breaking some ribs on a play where he did a full stretch out with the ball trying to get a first down.
Jerry Babb is one of my all time favorite players.
Ben Wooldridge is in the same catagory.
An all out player.
I hate to see anyone get hurt. Especially a player who was hustling. Ben gave me illusions of grandeur and I will forever be a grateful fan.
Ben and LL1 had a common trait. Neither rarely panicked under pressure. That type of leadership is rare in college.
If not for being injured, Ben would be in the discussion of the top QBs to play here...
