This defeats the entire purpose!!! This is for the actual name of the school, not the nickname of the school! If the brand is Louisiana we could do a better job!

NO. NO to all these ridiculous uniform suggestions. They do not brand us as LOUISIANA, and therefore miss the point of a uniform. Instant recognition of the team and who it represents. These alternate uniforms miss the point. And designing more of them? Clueless.

Umm, the whole reason or my argument is that Louisiana needs to be the first and foremost on the uniform, hence writing script Louisiana on the helmet, to using the outline of the state, to using LA as an abbreviation for Louisiana.

It's across the chest, it's on the ticker, it's in the endzones.
The best uniforms have script Cajuns on the helmet and Louisiana across the chest. This should be the permanent unis, IMO.
Now, with that in mind, we could incorporate the state silhouette on apparel. I saw a fantastic rope hat on ULM's sideline with the state outline and a star where Monroe is. I'd like to see this for UL
