Earlier I tossed out the idea of camo trousers only. But then someone put forth a better idea of simply placing a patch on the jerseys to show appreciation. Probably saves money too.

Well its been a while, and I didn't want to start a new thread, but yall hear me out on this, I know everyone is dead set on not using colors that is not red and white. So to show Military Appreciation Week when we wear the black uniforms which is not a school color, why cant we use other colors that is also is not a school color, so what if we did this?

Louisiana did wear pewter in the late 1950's (close to you numbers, stripes and the light part of the camo)

Red, pewter and white.

I really like the jerseys with the Acadiana Flag on the shoulders!! I think we should've done those helmet logos right after the name change in 2000.

Do it for a game as an alternate i think could work ! If anything to just to get people talking, but to show appreciation to Acadiana it was our University that came up with the flag.
