With a hitting percentage above .250 each set, Georgia Southern was able maintain distance from the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball team and capture a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-18) win on Thursday, November 14 at E.K. Long Gym in the opening contest of Senior Weekend.
Cajuns took first two games; Ga S took third. Long day. Waiting to find results on match. Great effort by Cajuns. We’re much shorter due to injuries. Great energy from crowd. Lots of young girls in attendance with family.
Cajuns take fourth and match. After being shut out 3-0 by them yesterday. Senior night.
Nice to finish the season with a win.
Sitting home for the conference tournament, USM had the tie breaker over UL (split matches, but USM won more games).
