If the "people" would make some noise maybe they wouldnt have to pipe in music. We can go about this both ways lol

I'm not sure what it is, but people in Lafayette seem quite subdued. I recently attended a small live music venue in New Orleans and couldn't help but notice how much more energetic and engaged the crowd was compared to those in Lafayette. Purely anecdotal, but I think it's definitely a thing...
God…we dropped the bag so bad this past weekend. I thought it was in my rear view mirror. We should be being discussed on tonight’s CFP Ranking show. WTF!
Even had we won, I believe with Boise State, Army, and Tulane winning, we would no longer be in the conversation.
If Boise wins their conference championship, they are almost certainly in. But, even if they lose, the winner of Army-Tulane in the AAC conference game, will almost certainly be the selection.
I disagree. But I was just talking about being ranked around 23 on the show tonight and having Louisiana in the CFP Top 25.
Army will lose to ND this weekend. I think that could have a ripple effect that shakes the AAC had we won. Hell…Tulane could very well lose to Memphis on Thanksgiving. In fact, I think that is their toughest test remaining.
I agree that there was a good chance on Top 25 ranking in coaches' and AP. I don't think there was an iceberg's chance of ranking in CFP. Who would Louisiana replace?
I also don't think that if Army loses to ND but then wins out, that Louisiana would be ranked higher than Army in the CFP. I doubt that Boise will lose their championship game, but, even if they do, barring some really weird finishes, I think the winner of Army-Tulane would get in.
