This is what happens when you come in to a game completely unprepared. Our O-line of 4 seniors and a junior got bullied the vast majority of the night. Similar to how fired up we were to play stAte last week, a blind man should have been able to see that USA was gonna come in with the same type of fire tonight after we whooped them at their place last year. Our offense was inept for 85% of the night. Zero sense of urgency in the second half. The parallels between tonight and the stAte game last year are eerie. I hope I'm wrong, but especially with losing Ben, I think our hopes of playing in the CCG (much less hosting it) might have just gone out the window. Troy has found themselves. ULM will give us everything they have. To have it all for the taking on our home field and coming out flat is just so disappointing.

All the silly crap: the billboards, the CFP talk, the "we should be ranked" talk...it's all well and good. For the fans. The team came out of the gate tonight like that stuff had gone to their heads. We were not ready to play a football game tonight. That was one of the worst defenses in the country we just lined up against, and they schooled us for 3 1/2 quarters. I've defended Des as a playcaller numerous times this season. He got outschemed to an embarrassing degree tonight. That was the knock on last year's team. The roller coaster. Not knowing who was gonna show up on a week to week basis. Not responding well to success. Here we are again. FO with the "valiant comeback" and "8 wins is something to be proud of" nonsense. Anyone who has watched 5 minutes of USA this year knew that was a dangerous team coming to CF tonight (offensively). And we were not ready for them.

Chandler Fields had a hell of a night . . . too bad we had already dug too big of a hole . . . nice to see our crew battle til the end . . . wished we made the 2 point concession . . . Lots of pressure to score two plays in a row from the two . . . GEAUX Cajuns

Pretty spot on but I would trade a two point "concession" any day for a field goal in the first half.
