Wow what a read this thread was. Luckily I attend the Cajuns games instead of coaching them on a message board. Tough start on both sides of the ball. I felt defensive adjustments were made before halftime. South scored TD’s on first 3 drives. Then we held them to a field goal off of back to back turnovers. They had less than 100 yards of offense after the 3 TD drives. Obviously the Cajuns left points on the field that could have changed the results. But ____ happened and sometimes it snowballs. Congrats to the team and coaches for fighting back. This game made me proud to support this program more than embarrassed. Tough loss. Let’s win out and build for next season.

Also I’d like to mention. This is the 3rd conference game we’ve played with our opponent coming off of a bye week. It seems like every team should only have that situation arise once?? Maybe it’s not a big deal but this league ____es me off a lot.

The scoreboard proves it was TLtL.

What makes it frustrating is Louisiana still looked like the better team at the end.

The 3 point hole they dug, was just to deep.

I would not say the Cajuns looked like the better team. Their defense played like they had 13 men on the field all of the time. They made us work for everything, especially in the first 3 quarters. Any pass we completed was contested and tackled quickly and they made us work for every yard on the ground. Their DL was in the backfield all night chasing our QB's out of the pocket.

And, their QB looked like he couldn't miss because we got absolutely no pressure on him most of the night without blitzing. They were the more physical team on both sides of the ball all night and it showed.

I was looking at comments on the Teams Facebook page post of final score. Many people saying The 2pt conversion was good and should’ve been contested - illegal motion be damned. It would at least given us a second opportunity.
