Ragin' Cajuns Re: Bball vs. Houston

I don't remember the last time we've been skull-drug on the basketball court like this. Now I know how some of the NAIA schools we play feel...

We are already there. The place is a morgue. No energy. No excitement. Just apathy.

We doubled the attendance of fans at a Fall Baseball scrimmage than what shows up to Basketball. Doubled it. If that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what else will.

I've said it before and here i am again.

In the NIL era, G5 can't compete with P4 money in football, but in basketball you can.

We should overindex spending on our basketball programs. We have the best basketball facility in the state and no other university in the state has a strong hold on college basketball. It's there for the taking.

Invest heavy in 3-4 kids and play a competitive home schedule. People will show up.

Will Wade proved it twice, once to our east (LSU) and again to our west (McNeese).

The administration has to want it and there has to be a standard.

NOBODY scored in double figures. NOBODY.

That fecal festival start to the second half was the ugliest display of basketball I’ve seen from the Cajuns since the death penalty.

I realize Sampson had his guys primed since losing their last outing, but darn.

Enjoy football and the stick sports. Everything else UL is putting out the is mediocre at best.

Nothing matters . . . NOTHING matters . . . until Bob is gone. And Bob won't be gone until his contract is up. And pray to the God's they dont extend him again. But make no mistake, he's not getting fired.

Might be time to get DaBoot feelings about the team.

It just hit me.....you could literally copy/paste every post on this thread into 80+% of the remaining game threads. Just change the opponent name/scoring details when applicable.

Another depressing revelation.....It reads like the LTURd board in football.

Welcome to the club. I honestly cannot remember the last time I went to a Cajun basketball game. I really cant even remember when was the last time I watched a game on ESPN+. This program is dead to me as long as we have ole Bobby running the show.

Our 2014 tourney team lost at Louisville by 41 points and let them score 113

    It’s only game three

I wish Moe and Koran had gotten more PT

We are also playing a true freshman, down low, not a red shirt he will improve

Let’s see how we do against a decent Rice team before people throw in the towel

The towel was thrown in long ago.

I haven’t seen a minute of UL bball since 2021.
