National Signing Day Softball

What are you looking for? You are aware that Media Relations/Sports Information does not post the list of signees until the softball office says they have received all the forms from the signees. Those who have committed normally post that they have signed on their X account, none of those listed in the original post have done so. Candidates have until next Tuesday to sign, the list may not be posted until then.

Correct me if I am wrong but today is just the start day to sign. From what I understand their is no deadline to sign. I saw somewhere that STM was doing all their athletes signing in December. Maybe the STM verbal commits will ink then?

Well what? Nobody has to sign today.

Step #1 Take a deep breath, everything is all good.

Step #2 Read the first post in this thread (Preferably slowly)

Step #3 Read the last sentence slowly and at least twice.

Step #4 Stay tuned and remember NOTHING is guaranteed.

I'm behind the times. When early signing periods first started, it was for one week. Apparently, they only do that for basketball now. Football is for two days, all other sports have until August 1.

I expect we will still have to wait until the majority of the signees have signed before we see an announcement on ragincajuns.com.

Im fairly sure that most of (if not all) commits have signed. I guess the school is waiting to post all at once. At least that’s what they did last year.

Correct, rules are constantly changing and will continue to change. The Sulphur baseball players signed Wednesday but Live Oak is doing Thursday. Most schools are doing it when all the players and families are available.

Just an innocent bystander here, but this sounds a little condescending to me. Not everyone knows national signing DAY is a bit of a misnomer. I didn’t see anything in the first post of the thread that explained that players didn’t have to sign today.
