Thread: ESPN Bowl Projection

    UL Football ESPN Bowl Projection

    Birmingham Bowl
    Protective Stadium (Birmingham, Alabama)
    Noon or 3:30 p.m., ESPN
    Bonagura: Louisiana vs. Michigan State

    Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl
    Independence Stadium (Shreveport, Louisiana)
    9:15 p.m., ESPN
    Schlabach: Louisiana vs. Cincinnati

Birmingham Bowl, more specifically Michigan State, would be the sweetest game given the buyout MSU ponied up not to play UL in September.

If we don't make CFP or play a P5 school. I would like to play Tulane again in a bowl assuming we both win out

I cannot even imagine a scenario in which that would play out. Except for Cajuns, I can’t think of anyone else who would want it.

Agree. ESPN isn't going to do a rematch.

I like the prospect of playing Michigan State, or Cincy, in Birmingham if we don't sneak into that CFP slot. Try to build some program recognition getting a P4 in a bowl game.
