Sadly I believe we will be in the NOLA bowl again after this week. I hope we get a better match up than a CUSA team but I doubt it happens.

First off, after the six or seven major bowls, these guys are throwing darts and don't have any more idea as to the bowl line up than I do... and I don't no nothun'.

Second, I believe ESPN has the first pick for Sunbelt teams, and I don't think they would want a matchup with a middle of the road CUSA team.

I hope Maggard is burning up the phones trying to negotiate something not NOLA. I know we can’t say No to them and end up like LA Tech, but we should be trying now to get something else to workout.

That is the future with the CFP. They have the weekend all to themselves NCAA wise. The early 8 or 9 bowl games are bumped away from the weekend. The NOLA bowl attendance record is safe for years to come. The money will make most SBC opponents CUSA or MAC due to logistics. Yippeeee.

Bright side, CUSA will only have 4 teams eligible unless Ruston beats Arkansas and Kennesaw.
