2 dead 2 injured in shooting at kitchen on klinton on University Ave across from campus. They had a big To Do there starting early this evening. They normally have security but tonight they didn't. Bad decision I guess.

One of the victims was the target and was killed.. the other three were in the wrong place at the wrong time. LGMC was in lockdown most of the evening..

Would someone explain to me how a bar opened UP so close to UL CAMPUS. I thought there was a 300 hundred foot barrier for selling alcohol for schools and churches. I guess there’s someone in zoning giving out special treatment to the owners

It is a restaurant that started out as a food truck. Mostly chicken wings and fried food. There is not a bar in the restaurant. They may sell beer by the bottle. Not sure about that though.
