I think you’re right. Tonight was a statement. Kind of scary, actually. We were good. stAte is okay, but they are a 5 win team. If we played USM with this level of intent, we would have won by 60.

CMD's play calling is working as well. He is not making the boneheaded calls the last 3 games or so.

Watching a bunch of college football. Teams that are expected to win panic when they are against the wall. We’ve been down a few games a few times and did not blink. We’ve been so great at not letting a score do us in. It’s a mentality thing and we’re good at it. Not there case today, obviously, but still worth mentioning.
