Latest from the NHC shows it staying off shore south of Grand Isle until Sunday. May not make landfall and fizzle out. May bring some rain on Saturday and Sunday.

Looking a little better in terms of avoiding a hurricane, but the weather on Saturday has not improved. On the bright side, it's across Louisiana. Maybe that will keep some defectors on this side of the basin. Buy tickets and support the home team.

In Lafayette, 70% thunderstorms both day and night. Who knows. Let's hope it changes with the shifting storm.
