Not much of a teaching moment. I guess it’s good the coach is passionate.

I see it as problem solved.

Whatever that player did to ____ off his coach......if he has any common sense there ain't no way in hell he'll do that again

It’s a teaching moment for both. I’m all for hard ass coaching but don’t put your hands on a kid. Period. I’d be willing to bet the kid will never make the same mistake he made on the field again as well as the coach never putting hands on a player again.

What I don’t understand about all this is the uproar it has caused for little ol ulm but a few weeks ago the head coach of the number 2 team violently pushed the player of an opposing team and nothing was done. Where was all the outrage then?

What I am fearful of is that one of these coaches is gonna cross that line and a player is gonna snap and severely injure them.

We had the Gunner Martinez thing in the dugout. Personally, I don't think it's that big of an issue, except now there's the media perspective wanting to jump all over it to make a story. How many of those in the media wanting to make a deal out of such stuff actually played real competitive high school or college athletics?

That was definitely worse than the Gunner/Martinez thing. The coach initiated it and was ape-____...literally acting like an ape on coming onto the field.

I see it from both sides. You have one kid that made a mistake on the football field. The other you have a kid coming off the field cursing at his coach. There’s a difference between putting a kid in his place and being a complete out of control a hole.

has anyone asked the kid if he actually gives a siht? he probably thinks its a big nothing burger, and all of these people are getting offended on his behalf when he could not care less.
