Since the CFP announced their Top 25 on Tuesday I’ve seen a CFP odds graphic a handful of times and Louisiana is 3rd in the odds at 7% behind Boise State 74% and Army 21%. What’s crazy is this graphic has UNLV listed 4th also at 7% but Tulane is nowhere listed. This tells me the CFP committee has the Cajuns ahead of Tulane. Army will no doubt lose to Notre Dame and possibly North Texas this Saturday. If my assumption is correct, we just need Boise to stub its toe in the MW CCG vs. anyone not named UNLV and for us to win out. Think about that!
This graphic was on X and also came up on the ESPN Halftime show during last night’s MACtion.
Am I taking crazy pills?!
Not crazy at all, Boom. I just assumed the CFP would have the odds of Tulane higher than Louisiana. The AP poll has Tulane ranked slightly higher so naturally that would give them better odds, therefore they should have been listed. I’m very curious what the committee is thinking. Maybe I’m misinterpreting the whole thing???
Just keep winning
Yeah this one is old I guess, looking on Fanduel it shows the following odds among G5s
https://sportsbook.fanduel.com/navig...ab=cfb-playoff
Boise State - 250
Tulane +700
Army +900
Louisiana +1000
UNLV +2200
Western Kentucky +15000
Jacksonville State +15000
Why not follow the FCS model? 10 FBS conference champs and 14 at large bids.
The predicted bracket follows the format of the FCS playoffs with 24 teams. There are 10 automatic bids this year and 14 at-large bids. Eight of these teams will be seeded and receive a first-round bye. Another eight teams will be seeded 9-16 for the first time this fall.
