Well odds and rankings can be two different things.
In order to get that “G5 slot”, the team has to win their conference. I think the odds makers probably have more faith in UL doing that than Tulane.
Now that said, if Tulane does win their conference, and doesn’t lose another game this season, then they’d likely get in ahead of a 12-1 SBC Champ Louisiana.
Come on, man! You know darn well that’s the only reason we lost that game. And on top of that, ESPN knew that was the only way we could lose so they did it just to screw us.
Maybe we should call those 444 lawyers to sue ESPN on behalf of the university and its fans.
I will never let this go if we win out.
By moving the kickoff, we lost home field advantage. No way we lose that game at night.
To deny this is asinine.
It’s preposterous to think making more regular season games 1000% more meaningful wouldn’t increase viewership of those games. 12 to 16 makes room for all conf champs without sacrificing any p4 team with a realistic chance to win. It is literally impossible that that scenario would not earn them more money.
I'm really trying to figure out why you believe this to be the case? Please help me out. We played on the same field with the same facilities before the same size crowd. From what I gather it was a good sized crow. I don't think it would have been any bigger or better if at night.
Tulane plays all their games during the day . . . it’s their preferred time to play . . . Louisiana ONLY plays games during the day when they are forced to and for Home Comin . . . we hate to play games during the day . . .
Can y'all finish this time of game debacle discussion till after I fully adjust to having moved my clock back three days ago?
Maybe the committee saw the kick returners knee down
