Jay bird. I just revisited the published details of Dez’ contract incentives. He’s on track to make some green this season.

Coach Des is the only one with more wins than losses.

Turns out Desormeaux is proving to be a fantastic investment.

Its not very often that throwing paint on the wall produces a masterpiece.

There were no Desormeaux haters, but there were more than a few objections to paying him to learn on the job. The bigger objection was to there being no coaching search.

The overall winning percentage of coaches on Jay's list shows how risky getting a return on investment really is.

Turns out Desormeaux is proving to be a fantastic investment with quicker than most learning skills.

    7-1 speaks for itself.

His deal contains several incentive bonuses, including $250,000 for a New Year's Six Bowl or College Football Playoff appearance, $25,000 for a non-New Year's Six bowl appearance and $10,000 for a bowl win.

Others include $25,000 for a division championship or $50,000 for a conference title, $25,000 for winning 10 regular-season games, $10,000 for beating a Power 5 opponent, $25,000 for a final top 25 ranking, $20,000 for winning Sun Belt coach of the year and $50,000 for winning a national coach of the year award.

So he’s on track to make $150k in bonus add 50k if he wins national coach of the year and 50k if we make the playoff
