Homecoming: Louisiana vs Arkansas State 4pm Kickoff

I don't like moving games to 4pm for that purpose, and I don't like the foundation serving two masters.

Foundation needs to focus on academics exclusively, not asking for both.

There are other reasons for a 4pm kickoff though

Without the RCAF being part of the overall Foundation, tax deductibility for donations would come into question as well as matching gifts from corporations. I also think the RCAF can borrow from the overall foundation if need be. I have no proof but I firmly believe that happened when we were paying Billy Napier big bucks. Probably paid it back from the buyout Florida gave us when he moved on.

One day, the RCAF will HAVE TO be independent from the university.

also the students have homecoming festivities in the evening it is after all homecoming, and not all of us are lucky enough to still live in Lafayette and we drive in to games and having one which can be a one day turn around is nice

The 4pm Homecoming time is perfect.

Every other home game should be a night(6 or later) kickoff with few exceptions. Those being time change for national TV on ABC/NBC/CBS/ESPN1 or for weather related issues.
