We were close to a chance to potentially tie the game with a td and 2 point conversion.
I don’t think we were anywhere near running away with it. We could not stop them.

The missed sacks and missed tackles throughout the game is the reason we lost. We were in position to make tackles multiple times. We get off the field on 3rd 2 or 3 more times and I think we win by two or three scores.
The RB was good, no doubt, but our ineffectual tackling made him look MUCH better.

Napier had two of those seasons in a row. Then we returned to the mean the next two years….every break went against us.

This is the third consecutive year Tulane is getting breaks to fall their way. Maybe they have established a consistent program in Uptown New Orleans.

Not having KC in the second half was huge. Couple that with the Pic 6 and the Kickoff Return that should have been called dead, and you’re right.
