Coach Marlin is well compensated. However he does not make nearly 800 grand a year. Contract going into affect this year actually resulted in a pay reduction to him. I believe the assistants pool was increased however. Those guys (in every sport) do way more work than most fans realize.

Good to know his salary went down from 800K. Way over paid for the results he has brought. Hope he engages the fan base more, the product is better on the court, and more fans want to latch onto the program. Just don't see at this point, but as always, I go in with an open mind each season.

Let's get out of this rut and put some support behind the Cajuns as a legendary program and not a ONE man show this year. Cajuns basketball was church back in my day. The Dome after that huge renovation is simply bad ass. We take what we got for granted.

His salary was never at 800k. The highest was 672k and now his base is at 550k with incentives.

As a college student from 2000-2005. Cajun basketball came first for me. Dome was lit Man back then. Hope it comes back. Been waiting for years for it to come back to that level.

Same, I didn’t miss a home game or post season game from ‘98-‘04. I got is so much trouble skipping practice to go to B’ham to watch us get robbed.

I missed ‘04 while in Iraq. Cajuns basketball hasn’t been the same since.

I will say that it is fortunate that the Hosana injury occurred early enough for the staff to adjust their planned play style approach. I am confident one thing that will occur is the development of Jeremiah Evans at center will accelerate. Young man has loads of potential, especially as a rim protector and rebounder.
Any word on season ticket sales for this season?

Had a home game run from first game back from death penalty thru 91. Missed 2 games, marriage and the flu.

Between 11-15. We have to pray that Evans, a true freshman, will come into his own immediately as we have 2 players available over 6'8" at this point and I don't have confidence in this team to be a knock down 3 point shooting team. We are in trouble

I don't remember it ever being that high
