Liberty, like UL a few years ago, was on the radar for their prior year. The difference is, they didn’t lose right out the gate the second year.

Liberty, unlike the Cajuns, didn’t play a power conference team to start the following season. Their OOC was Campbell,ecu, app and Umass. Combine that with the gauntlet that is cusa and you get what is happening now. I don’t think they will get through wku or Jax state but after last year hopefully people see through this fraudulent team if they happen to go undefeated. A 1 or even 2 loss MWC or AAC champion deserves to be in the playoffs over them. As do a 1 loss sun belt champ Cajuns or a 2 loss ga southern.

LSU, NotreDame and Florida do too. To the max. Those teams can lose two or more games, and after every win their promotional arm kicks it back in gear proclaiming they are back in the picture.

If not playoff berth, I would not mind a bowl game vs Tulane, Liberty, Army or Navy.
Preferably Army or Navy would be awesome man.

Ultimate goal is to get that Conference Championship to Lafayette and win it. The CC is a huge accomplishment.

Liberty needed to land somewhere so Mr. Mouse had them boxed in somehow to eliminate their television network, preferably with another network. CUSA arguably is a band of misfits and is the step up conference. Their latest additions bring absolutely nothing to the table other than more programs Liberty and their deep pockets can mow over like clover.

Throw in their promotional arm, they will always SEEM relevant. They can outspend pretty much any G5 if they need. People can play the holier than thou card, but when it comes to players and NIL, the players vastly follow the money.
