    My number 1 would be to see us against Army somewhere. My youngest is in the early enlistment program and would love to go to that bowl.

    CUSA of the Past (with teams like TCU, SMU, UCF, Cincy(I think), Memphis, Tulane, etc) is NOT today's CUSA!

    Stayed put or leave for CUSA...

    Wherever Louisiana had gone or stayed would ULtimatly have been the better conference.

    I don't think SBC would have had the pull it did without Louisiana.

    In context, at the time CUSA was the better conference. The reluctance to move had nothing to do with it being a possible bad conference in the future, but the lack of vision of the SBC Commissioner at the time, playing golf mostly and the UL AD that supposedly had a future vision plan tucked away on a shelf in his office collecting dust that no one else on his staff has ever seen. Context matters.
