And those same fans complain when UL is sent to DFW and it’s too far away to travel or it’s too cold to go to a game in late December not in a dome

No…I’m talking about fans that don’t travel to a damn thing. You are talking about regular fans. I’m basically referring to all the Louisiana alumni or Lafayette residents that support TSAB.

    So 75% of them?

For selfish reasons, I'd love the Indy Bowl against Utah. Even though I froze my tail off, I really enjoyed the game vs. Houston. I'd love to do it again since I only live about 20 minutes away.

Yup…and we need to change that perception and get them back. Going to NOLA every other year ain’t gonna work. The SBC desperately needs to improve our Bowl tie-ins.

My wife and I went to the Indy Bowl in Shreveport 2 yrs ago. It was bone chilling cold. The experience was so bad that she will not go to a game in late Dec again unless it’s in an enclosed stadium. I’d much rather play in the Superdome, but not against crappy CUSA. They need to open up that game to better competition since CUSA is a bottom feeder.

You know its kinda weird. There was this other conference with similar or maybe even the same initials that everyone screamed bloody murder about us trying to get into. I wonder what ever happened to them?

If there is a conference with USA in title, i am surprised the champion of that conference doesnt have claim to the title of national champion.

I’ve already solved this issue: One team is a conference tie-in; the other is an at large that makes for a good regional matchup and TV pairing.

Why not go to a lotto ball type draw system for the bowl slots, ala nva draft lottery or fifa world cup

Cool idea. Higher rated teams get more balls in the basket. Higher rated bowls get first draw. It would definitely make for some interesting match ups
