We haven’t looked good and have, on paper, a terrible schedule. We keep winning and we might start seeing votes.

For the record, since I’m a “hater”, I think this schedule is our best schedule in ages. Minus the Kennesaw St game, this schedule should have created a lot of fan interest. Unfortunately we only have about 20,000 fans.

I was correct, not a single vote. However Vanderbilt who lost to a 0-3 sun belt team is ranked 25

Not yet. Maybe if UL runs the table thru the bowl game. JMU was getting votes off last year’s effort. Whoever comes out as the dominant SBC team will get recognized if still has 1 loss.

Problem is you play who you are scheduled to. Nobody on the schedule has been getting votes, therefore, no marque win.

Boise, Army and Navy are ranked, with UNLV (5 votes) and Liberty (1 vote) are the only G5s getting AP votes. Army, Navy and Liberty are undefeated.

UL did too the season following the championship. And had the “nation’s longest win streak”. Lost a game and by-bye. So yes, Liberty and their lone vote is living rent free in one mind.
