Now I get it. This is about UL HC positions. Well since I don't enter my thoughts into that arena, you've had an agenda since the beginning. Thats on you.
Me: The Program. And The Program is looking good. Not a perfect 7-0 heaven forbid. Just a lowly 6-1 and about to beat some TXST arse for like the 11th time in a row.
Get with the Program.
Bottom line is this: the CAJUNS are 3-0 in Conference play AND hold the best overall record in the Conference. After this past week, Louisiana and Georgia Southern are in the driver's seat to make the Conference Championship. Not only that, but, the way I see it, the CAJUNS are also in position to host the Championship game if they win out these last 5 games. Easier said than done, but definitely doable!!!

I think you can be happy
To be bowl eligible (after 7 games) while still wanting more out of the program. I don’t think anyone on here has expressed a “task completed” mentality around bowl eligibility and this season.
It is a checkpoint we hit rather early, which is reason for optimism going forward.
I get this team can be frustrating at times. But when I compare notes with my friends who follow their teams like I do the Cajuns, they have almost the EXACT same feelings. I was going to caveat that with: except for Texas. But now those guys are worse off than anyone.
No you did not.
G5 CFP is a reality. Only person looking forward to another b.s. bowl is absolutely no one on RP. Do your own research and look into the upcoming games this weekend (G5). We'll know a ton more because the whole Program will be able to watch these teams in real time as well. Head to San Marcos and tear that stadium down to the ground. Back to CF for nearly a month, handle business (which I am 100% betting we will) and this could be a season for the ages.
I don't hold live game talk against fans.
Coaches fumble, ball carriers fumble, fans fumble.
For some reason, in the moment fan talk is held to a higher standard.
This. ^^^
You and I might at times have a difference of opinion, but this is spot on. The sleeping program of “oh so close” and resting on “well we beat aTm” awoken over a decade ago. Expectations have replaced hope. 2 A4 scalps this decade, so far.
Like beating Wake, they suck. I, and probably a few others deep down expected that victory. That didn’t exist pre Hud.
With success on the field, comes other expectations. The new stadium is fine, but if it’s run like the Tulane game was, no ROI will arrive.
Time to UL it.
