Am I happy we won, yes. Do I want Desormeaux to be successful and never leave here, an emphatic yes.

Yea. did I get fired up with todays vic. Yes. Why? this is our backyard, the SBC. It's what matters.

Did I get all pumped about WF, even though I hate WF with a passion, nah.

Did I get all fired up about Southern Miss, maybe a lil' more than Wake, but they are in our backyard. Conference play is what matters.

Did we play a perfect game today. There's not a soul who would agree with that. Did we win. Does this win count toward our Conference play? If I'm not mistaken, it does. It's the only thing that matters. These p.o.s. LSU fans will complain non-stop about but, but, but we gotta play Bama, Georgia et al. THATS THEIR CONFERENCE. This is how it works.

Louisiana is 6-1. I'm pumped up. I think we have put together a great season. I'm looking forward to our future, in which we have already made ourself eligible @ game 7.

But you don’t. Your commentary makes no sense.

We had too many penalties. Too many dropped passes. And our defense doesn’t tackle well.

But “doesn’t put complimentary plays together” is just silly. As is the commentary about our opponent’s talent. What are your qualifications to judge our opponents talent level? It’s just silly, looking for reasons to bash dez.

Yes, I think everyone had similar concerns about his experience level etc. But he’s clearly improved as a coach. But some want to hold on to their disapproval regardless of the actual results.

I still don’t understand your contention that Louisiana’s talent is so superior to other conference members. Though not a perfect metric the recruiting rating services have always had Louisiana rated high but I don’t think ever first. Again I know that isn’t perfect but again by what metric do you state that Louisiana’s talent is significantly superior?

I remember when winning any road game by 10 points was crazy talk. Winning road games in general. We’re 4-0 on the road this season.

So we went on the road and beat one of the better teams in the conference while “not playing well” is not championship football? Championship football is in fact, going on the road and beating a good football team while “not playing well”. It’s pretty much the definition of championship football.

Not sure who you aimed your thoughts at but I'll give it a shot.

No one has said we're the best in the Belt. We keep finding ways to win and that's not good, rather that is a great step in the right direction.

As for talent, somehow we have put together phenomenal RB groups for more than a while now. And this goes back nearly a decade. That is awesome. As for recruiting rankings, at one point I remember us being no.1 in the Belt for three straight years. With what SBC Football has turned into, that is outstanding. We have a very good program, facilities that you simply need to see with your own eyes and an athletic department which views our present state as Nothing compared to what we're aiming at.
