Unlike the rest of you, I actually have expectations. I expect us to play a complete game. I expect the offense to score more than 34 points or 23 points when we absolutely dominate time of possession. I expect the defense to tackle and be fundamentally sound.

I expect SBC Championship football. We are not playing up to our capability. Y’all can be happy with the win, but don’t be foolish, today wasn’t a good showing. We beat a team that we are 28 points better than.

God forbid, someone watch the game critically and know WTF he’s talking about.

But you don’t. Your commentary makes no sense.

We had too many penalties. Too many dropped passes. And our defense doesn’t tackle well.

But “doesn’t put complimentary plays together” is just silly. As is the commentary about our opponent’s talent. What are your qualifications to judge our opponents talent level? It’s just silly, looking for reasons to bash dez.

Yes, I think everyone had similar concerns about his experience level etc. But he’s clearly improved as a coach. But some want to hold on to their disapproval regardless of the actual results.

Though not a perfect metric the recruiting rating services have always had Louisiana rated high but I don’t think ever first. Again I know that isn’t perfect but again by what metric do you state that Louisiana’s talent is significantly superior?

So we went on the road and beat one of the better teams in the conference while “not playing well” is not championship football? Championship football is in fact, going on the road and beating a good football team while “not playing well”. It’s pretty much the definition of championship football.

Not sure who you aimed your thoughts at but I'll give it a shot.

No one has said we're the best in the Belt. We keep finding ways to win and that's not good, rather that is a great step in the right direction.

As for talent, somehow we have put together phenomenal RB groups for more than a while now. And this goes back nearly a decade. That is awesome. As for recruiting rankings, at one point I remember us being no.1 in the Belt for three straight years. With what SBC Football has turned into, that is outstanding. We have a very good program, facilities that you simply need to see with your own eyes and an athletic department which views our present state as Nothing compared to what we're aiming at.
