I'm actually surprised Amazon isn't working harder to capture the college media rights market.

Talk about pie in the sky numbers. $18M per school seems, at a minimum, 100% inflated and probably more like 120-150%.

This makes zero sense for the Cajuns to do this without some significant guarantees on $$$ from the PAC.

Travel alone for out of division opponents is going to be insane.

That’s the only way they push the needle for big money around 18 mil a member.

Of course, this is all conjecture at this point. But, let's say it is a possibility. Would the PAC pick both UTSA and Texas State given they are so close together? If they pick only one of those 2, that would leave an opening ... for Louisiana. Would UL actively pursue that opening? Seems like a major step up in conference affiliation.
    Where are you seeing this?

I swear, some of you here do nothing but complain and are never satisfied! Bob has invited me to sit on his lap at his pool party for the last decade and I'll be damned if yall screw this up for me!!!

Seems to me, TX state maybe 1 too many TX schools for the AAC members, thus taking a look at UL actually makes sense to fill that spot. Can't see how Tulane could push back given all there would be 3 TX based schools in the imaginary league.

My Memphis sources tell me they declined.

Which implies the rest of them did, too...
