Maybe the ULLLLLLL foundation could find a way to monetize these?
A friend of mine posted this on Facebook. What a clown show we have.
'Dear Cajun Field management, please train your staff at the entrances that when a ULL student (my son)has a diabetic medical bag, and he has apple juice and glucose nose spray for sugar lows, DO NOT try to confiscate it. He’s not a terrorist. He’s just trying to save his own life.. I don’t know where to go with this, but whoever can help me, let me know. It ruined his fun time yesterday and made him feel discriminated against! Tessie and I are furious… Life as a diabetic is hard enough without bull____ like this happening. I digress…please make us aware of how we make sure this doesn’t happen to ANYONE again!'
I like this assessment as well (cajunrunner's). However, and this is coming from one who plays music at max volume no matter what, the PA is far too loud. Ear piercing loud. Also, why in the hell do the band start playing in the middle of Metallica on the speakers. Are you kidding me? AND, music was on deck, playing low in the background, pretty sure it was some "nothing but a good time, classic from Poison" but the PA talked for so long about some absolute BS and it never got the chance to be cranked up. And it was the perfect timing for it.
RV from 107.9 was running the in game (not sure what you call it) live action involving the crowd dude? and he stated on the Friday morning breakfast jam (played on nearly every radio in every shop in Acadiana on Friday mornings) that he was not cool with Beastie Boys and they started jamming some classic Beastie, I thought it was hilarious. Students that were there should definitely resonate with his style. Good work.
