    Okay. Great.

Unfortunately several years of this BS in a row it's going to take some time to convince people that you got it fixed.

Or you know ... maybe .... you could advertise the fact that you heard the complaints and have addressed the issue

Well we’re 5-1 right now. I’m gonna try to focus on that right now and hope we just keep winning.

A friend of mine posted this on Facebook. What a clown show we have.

'Dear Cajun Field management, please train your staff at the entrances that when a ULL student (my son)has a diabetic medical bag, and he has apple juice and glucose nose spray for sugar lows, DO NOT try to confiscate it. He’s not a terrorist. He’s just trying to save his own life.. I don’t know where to go with this, but whoever can help me, let me know. It ruined his fun time yesterday and made him feel discriminated against! Tessie and I are furious… Life as a diabetic is hard enough without bull____ like this happening. I digress…please make us aware of how we make sure this doesn’t happen to ANYONE again!'

What’s going on across the basin is only part of the problem. No relief from that with the exception of the Troy game so we’ll be competing. Homecoming is the Bama game, so that.

We know the issues. Little to no marketing. Even after a big ACC win and a rivalry win. No buzz created with any promotion.

Game day experience. Even with perfect weather, you obviously didn’t have return customers from the first 2 games.

Where are the students? It was great to see the student reserve tailgate sold out for game 1. Have not heard a peep about those spots since. Have not made it over there to check it out either. How’s that going?
Check that. South Al game is no conflict.

Agree with this. Volume was at a reasonable level. Presentation was good. Crowd size was terrible. But the people that actually showed up brought the juice

The only thing missing was an electric crowd. Everything else was pretty darn good.

I like this assessment as well (cajunrunner's). However, and this is coming from one who plays music at max volume no matter what, the PA is far too loud. Ear piercing loud. Also, why in the hell do the band start playing in the middle of Metallica on the speakers. Are you kidding me? AND, music was on deck, playing low in the background, pretty sure it was some "nothing but a good time, classic from Poison" but the PA talked for so long about some absolute BS and it never got the chance to be cranked up. And it was the perfect timing for it.

RV from 107.9 was running the in game (not sure what you call it) live action involving the crowd dude? and he stated on the Friday morning breakfast jam (played on nearly every radio in every shop in Acadiana on Friday mornings) that he was not cool with Beastie Boys and they started jamming some classic Beastie, I thought it was hilarious. Students that were there should definitely resonate with his style. Good work.

The RV crowd was decent and the weather was perfect. We had a good tailgate day. I thought the crowd was a bit light but the fans that showed up had good energy. Not sure if there was an issue at the gate but my son & his group walked right in and no one scanned their tickets so not sure if the attendance figures are totally accurate.

With all that said, the "music" playing from the stadium speakers during the hours before the game is quite loud for the RV tailgaters. Wouldn't be so bad but the music is not our type of music. Turn that stuff down.

Contact Marcus Marks at the UL athletic department. Don't rely on the number posted for him because it's wrong. You'll have to be very insistent. They are bad at returning phone calls. Went through it last game.

I couldn't get to game until halftime due to personal obligations. There were for sure scanner issues at the NE gate at least when I got to game. There was a line of about 30 people trying to get into game at this time and none of the tickets printed or digital would scan correctly for anyone.

They ended up taking pictures of the tickets and let people in. No clue what they were planning to do with pictures taken of tickets

For what it’s worth…attendance didn’t look bad on tv. Looked better than 14K.
