People who have insurance call their insurance agency and file a claim. They don't call KATC and KLFY.

These "field reporters" in each parish are desperate to find a story to meet their required quota and they really lean on these stories of people who lost something to weather, fire, etc. and need help.

Yes, I feel for people who had a tree fall on their house... but I do not consider that news.
And then you have Townsquare Media forcing on-air personalities of their radio stations to post a minimum of outright clickbait crap on the stations’ FB pages.

It's not necessarily but since it had its own thread and was named appropriately its not taking away from other UL related content.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the sports coverage would be affected.

There's a big ommision in the coverage area below. Per Fanof71 and Cajunmike (great sources) an announcement for the Lafayette market will be made shortly.

And when you do click on one, it feels like you have been hacked with all the popups you get.

RP 3 posted on X that 32.1 is not on either of our cable systems. I presume you need a digital antenna to pick up 32.1. Apparently those antennas are around 20 bucks. The streaming option for 99 dollars per year was also launched today.

This...cut the cord, get a good indoor antenna and a streaming app, your set

Gosh, I’d expect a professional organization to come up with a better plan than a band aide.

By the time folks get the multiple streaming service after cutting the cord as well as the internet/cellular fees and in some cases new devices it likely costs more than the cord was before
