I was living in Laurel, MS and watched that game! Great win, with a FG to win it right at the end, if my memory serves me.

Funny thing, Preston Guidry had a running bet with a big USM fan and Preston owed a meal after the game. Or it may have been before the game LOL! Anyway, Preston called me a week or so before the game and asked if I could provide the BBQ rig. My company had one on a trailer. We must have cooked around 200 chicken quarters, just dumped BBQ sauce on them as they cooked. We fed beaucoup people that day! Good times for sure!
