Louisiana's Sun Belt Conference game on October 19 at Coastal Carolina has been scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff, the Sun Belt Conference and ESPN announced on Monday.

I disagree.

Having an early game on linear TV will allow for more exposure on Gameday and in the studio shows throughout the day.

Not to mention, there will not be as many big time games on at the same time. The following bolded games are in our time slot. Notice, most of the marquee games that have been announced so far are 2:30 pm or after.

Coastal gets us at home after they play on a Thursday and gets 10 days off. USM played us off a buy. Arkansas state and south Al both play us after buy weeks.

You bring up a valid point, but this kind of treatment is celebrated by our own administration. When it comes to conference matters, contract matters or state matters, we have a long history of volunteering to be the one to eat the S sandwich. After a while, those looking for guinea pigs simply know to select us without question.
