This will not end the way they think it will.

No without litigation. But up until this point they have proceeded unchecked.

PCF - Professional College Football. Payouts will go unchecked.

Skankey and the rest of the elites think they are creating an NFL rival. The American people have shown zero interest in another professional football league. A full break from the student side of this equation will end in failure.

I disagree, I think they know ESPN will throw a zillion dollars at them and their new league and they want all of it to themselves. People will continue to watch the Alabamas, LSU, Oklahoma's of the world. They are already established programs with gigantic fan bases, this is not like starting a new league up from scratch.

Maybe, but what's happening now is not sustainable. Pro leagues have salary caps, contracts, structure. College football right now is the wild west. There will need to be order from the chaos, or things will spin wildly out of control.

And I don't think espn has the money you think they do, not anymore.

The good professional players make way more money outside the cap than good college players so the cap has absolutely no bearing on whether or not this will succeed . . .

The sooner they break away the better it will be for the rest of us, and then maybe we can go back to some sort of sanity.

Sanity will always be relative . . .

Well, that makes the multiple suggestions nationwide at relegation done. Always follow the money.

You remember how OPEC cut production in the mid 2010s to try and kill the US fracking industry? That's what I feel the SEC/B1G is doing with NIL/Transfer Portal. If the commissioners and presidents of both of those leagues wanted something done about it, it would be fixed. But I feel they are weathering the storm in an effort to starve out the little sisters of the poor.

If the SEC/B1G want to take their ball and go home to lay together, let them. However, every other conference should agree not to play these schools. Let them fight it out amongst each other and once you see what were winning programs reduced to .500 or less records then perhaps sensibility will kick in.
