Travelling for Mtn West baseball will suck. Closest road trip today would be Albuquerque. Even "nearby" El Paso is actually closer to California than ito Houston.

& frankly none are all that good or have any winning traditions

And some of them will be leaving in 2 years anyway. They have I think 7 total baseball teams as of now

Liberty is a private school that have gobs of money; heck they have their own network. Serious advantage over the SBC’s public universities.

I hear everything y’all are saying about Liberty…and I agree, but you can’t argue with their success.

They have been one of the best G5 schools over the last 5 years, with a huge athletic budget and fan base.

If anyone leaves the AAC, I believe Liberty and JMU are the next two on the list.

Out of tech, middle and WKU. My vote is WKU by a mile.

….Ltur is in a not so good situation……they are in about the worst conference in America and not doing well…I need Doc Cajun Fun on this but I think USM about to surpass or tie them in many ways……recruiting is a real struggle for the area kids…any thoughts Doc or others?
