We're lucky here these cool fronts have pushed the recent hurricanes east. Still you hate to see anyone get slammed.
I also like to follow the intensity guidance. Some models have it as a Category 5. It looks like it will moderate to a Category 2 prior to landfall though. Still a significant storm.

I've never seen a storm develop like it did where it did and then just move almost due East initially. It usually moves north before going East
