19/21 on the year in the red zone. We’ve punted 3 times.

Great that we got the win against Wake Forest, we're going to need to see more from the defense though.

We were favored against them the last 2 years as well. It’s time to beat USM in football.

    It’s been too long

If our defense were an exceptional tackling team, we would be absolutely demolishing opponents. Our D-line gets consistent pressure and can’t get a dang sack. We got our first turnover on the year off of a deflection.

Getting a decent amount of CBL's, need sacks

Second one. Kibodi got a pick 6 against Grambling.

We've had a couple of other opportunities, but didn't get them. Like batted balls and a dropped pick vs. Tulane.

Skipper's pick against Wake was perhaps the play of the game. Wake was scoring on every drive at that point, and we'd just given the ball back to them after not scoring ourselves. The game was tied and if Wake goes and scores there, we're playing from behind and then we may have had to press and try to drive to tie it. That has been the story of our teams that last 2+ years. Close, but always having to mount a comeback in the final minutes.

Back to USM. Looks like some weather predicted to be in the Gulf again. Not sure if it will impact the game, but the Gulf is on alert again.

Best place to purchase tickets? Likely headed to Hattiesburg with a crew of 20 year old UL students.

BillBeck posted this in another thread. Probably your best bet with such a large group. But in the upper deck and sit with the Cajun section closest to the scoreboard. I’m sure there will be no issues with seat availability.

We are offering discounted group tickets starting at $6 in the upper level for your group! Call us at 601-266-5418 to reserve your group outing for another exciting matchup against the Ragin Cajuns!

Well if we win in another close one, it at least improves Coach Dez's one score game record. 3-10 now in those games.

If you look at competitive drives (does not count kneel downs at end of half), we are 20 for 21. Only non-score on a competitive drive was a turnover on downs vs. Grambling

Why are you are not counting the turnover on downs Saturday against WF?

I don’t believe we were in the red zone for that
