We have more 4 year universities than Florida. Florida has 4 times the population of Louisiana. That's the problem.

Things like this are why our state is a joke to the rest of the nation, and nothing will ever change. We'll sit by and watch the state's entire higher education system go bankrupt before we eliminate anybody's four year school.

They couldn’t even muster the spine to merge UNO and SUNO, a school with a 20% 6-year graduation rate. Now, UNO is barely afloat—and as a research university in a major city, it’s actually worth saving.

So much waste. They’ll never stop it though.
