Where are the “balls”?
Why the ____ do you go for two when we did?

That was definitely a 5 min left in the game move, not a 14 min left in the third quarter move
I agree. Way too early to go for 2! If you make it great, but if you don’t, you find yourself chasing the missed point the rest of the game. Don’t go for two until you have to and/or much later in the game.
No
Wrong
I actually didn’t have a problem with the call. In fact, I sometimes romanticize about the idea of going for 2 after every touchdown. It’s like playing those rural HS football teams that are extremely athletic but can’t kick for ____. They go for 2 every time and more times than not they score more because of it.
Except this isn’t high school and we have a very capable kicker.
The TE’s coach has been calling the plays for the last 2+ years and we are sub .500 But hey, at least his last name is Cajun.
I wanted it to work for Des, but the reality is this was the most USL thing we could have done and the results show.
In the history of the game, there has never been a reward granted in the third quarter for sacrificing a point while pinning your hopes on the offense somehow kicking a field goal sometime in the next 25 minutes of play.
Playing for overtime early in the third quarter is a panic move.
