There was a statement under that stating “Louisiana Athletics is continuing to work with the concessions partner to resolve the issues faced during game day.”

    It's unreal.

If a serious list of the biggest issues hurting Cajun athletics were made, Sodexo would be very close to the top.

Louisiana shouldn't have to 'baby sit' Sodexo, at the same time they should never leave it to chance.

Somehow during the big games, we provide the walkup, "hey, let's check this out and see how it goes" fans with no reason to return.

The SBC Championship game hosting App State was awesome, and I believe the university/vendor did a great job on that one. But that's the only one in recent memory that I can remember there not being some BS. Did we just decide it was "too hard" to get the logistics and experience right for times when there's 25k+ in attendance?

For a game in that heat the university should have had 18 wheelers full of bottled water staged. 23k attendance should have meant 100k bottles of water ready. Minimum.

I'm sure there were people who died in the south from heat exhaustion this past weekend, but none of them were at Louisiana, LSU or any other football games

More people die from cold than they do heat. Thank goodness we avoided that Ice Age they were predicting not very long ago.

They should have had more water no doubt. And while the game was indeed hot it was not by any stretch a record setting heat for South Louisiana. I think in general people simply don't prepare enough and are getting softer.

Agreed. I am north of 70 and had no problems Saturday.

You are lucky. I saw 2 people carried out in our section. A ref about lost it on the field, game stopped and trainers came out, and my wife called an Uber and left after the first quarter. I couldn’t get water, so I got a beer from a tailgating tent on the way out.
