Here is the issue. We tried to sneak in bottles of water. They were seen and confiscated... So they sent us into a place with inadequate hydration and did not allow us to bring in our own source. Honestly that is almost criminal but I am not going there. Others have said water does not perish... if you are expecting 20,000 bring 30,000. Not going to waste.... I am always there for Cajun games but this was unacceptable and don't try to justify it. Just do better

It would be different if they 1) didn’t run out of water and 2) actually had sufficient point of sale locations for the amount of people at the games

I get that there’s construction going on (totally understandable) but maybe they need to adjust some policies to accommodate the lack of infrastructure this season

Yep... This really is not hard to figure out... OVER supply water in a situation like that or allow you to bring in your own. Anything else is unacceptable...

Too their credit and not sure who supplied this but there was a tent in the South Endzone supplying free cups of water and large fans under a tent... Kudos who made this decision

17,000 would be ok only if they let you A) Bring in 1 water water bottle per person and B) Had free refill stations.

Ive been to many of music festivals during the summer and this is the way to go.

And the other A&M to the west allowed their fans to bring in 1 gallon per person, in addition to having roughly 2 bottles per seat [187,000] available for purchase.

The clownfest is some concessions running out of water.

When you run out of water in 100 degree heat you should wave your no re-entry rule. I left at half to get a few bottles of water out of my ice chest only because I had a ticket that was still unscanned.
