I view you as a numbers guy. Love your stats when you provide them.

I also know, you don't create numbers, you get them from somewhere.

I was referring to your source, not your reporting.

Seeing your source try to justify the shortfall is disheartening to me.

It means things won't change long term.

wow, 23,000 bottles of water and natty lights . . . cajuns should survive on that . . .

    Funny post but spot on.

I’m sure our admin didn’t want to scare away the crowd but there should have been better communication to the fan base to come prepared- get hydrated before the game, Allow water and ice to be brought in . Etc.

The article incorrectly stated that there was only 6,000 water bottles for sale at the concessions stands. After reading that, I said there was no way. I inquired about the article to people I know within the university. Those people said "no, there was three times that amount". There was no justification. There was clarification. Sorry for your disheartening heart, but its probably in your head.

Also, anyone can email just about any athletic department employee.

No one within the university bothering to read the article to make sure the information disseminated is accurate isn’t quite the defense that some people might think it is.

Who said no one read the article, and who is defending who? You're stretching. Be careful not to pull something

So they read the article and decided it wasn’t worth correcting until you brought it to their attention? LOL

7,000 then 6,000 seemed like a low innaccurate number to me also.

However, water is must have item. Not optional.

    Running out is running out.

Numbers are irrelevant in this instance.

Even if it was 18k- it still wouldn’t be nearly enough

Another example of how other schools communicate and handle similar situations:
