Beat F'n WAKE. We CAN win this game. Whatever it takes. This is that chance.

Whoever gives us the best opp to win.

    Geaux Cajuns.

Few things: 1. Never said Ben wasn't capable. 2. I said he's not a game changer. 3. He still has yet to finish a season. And 4. I'm not quitting on the team either.

Obviously that is not the case at this point.
    💯

Legitimate question. Why is it so hard for us to find a kickoff specialist that can just blast it into/out of the endzone on every kickoff? It’s college, so he would have a roster spot, and he doesn’t even have to do anything else. I know guys that can do that aren’t dime a dozen, but they also aren’t incredibly rare. Easiest way to cover a kick is to not let the return happen in the first place. I’ve never understood why we can’t find a kid that can do that

If we decided to move to a True Freshman this week, we are quitting on this season and looking to the future.

Not to mention, guess what, if he shows to be a game changer, he is gone this off-season just like Ben.

Well that should never prevent us from getting a young guy some experience. However, we still have the season in front of us conference schedule wise, and the West, with the exception of maybe TX State, hasn’t looked impressive so far this season. This team was never a CFP contender anyway, so roll with Ben and see if we can win games in the West. If at some point during the season we’ve already got 2 Ls vs West opponents, then yeah…it’s time to see what we have at QB for next season.

Jay and CMD Coach's Show was very encouraging last night. You get a glimpse of what make Des such a good football coach, with his brief interaction/discussion with Bill Davis and Jaden Dugger. Very genuine and personable. That's the kind of stuff we can't really see from the stands as fans, that someone like Dr. Maggard sees on a daily basis.

I really hope he can put together a special season for the rest of the season, because I want him to succeed.

Desormeaux is a very cerebral coach.
