Don’t disagree that 2 point conversion was ill-advised, but he wasn’t the same after the pick 6.
Why is it ill advised? Again, if we kick, we are still down a TD. If we go and miss, we are still down a TD. If we get it, we are down a FG. It's not that hard to comprehend
Passing game was miserable. 3rd down was miserable. That potential pick was the one that got away. Back to the helm, throws were miserable. O Line got owned. D Line got no stoppage on their primary RB. Passes were miserable. Cajun Fields or Lunchtime or hell maybe something was up with our starter.
Passing game was miserable? We averaged 12.5 yards per catch. It was the only thing offensively that kept us in it.
The problem I have with our offense is the same problem I had with it under Napier. We have our best players on the sideline way too much. I understand the idea of the rotation but Bill Davis should be getting work horse treatment. Let him touch the ball 15-20 every game.
At WR, Harvey Broussard should be in on damn near every snap.
Glad to hear our coach now is as good as Napier . . . you know, the guy who Levi Lewis took to a multi million dollar contract and showed he could not do it.
In any game of football, far too many things can, will, and do occur (scoring wise) to make a 3 point deficit your be all and end all goal so early in the third quarter.
